Music Together® is an international early childhood music and movement program for children from birth through age 7. First offered to the public in 1987, it pioneered
the concept of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement.

OUR STORY

Now in it's 23 year, Sol La Ti Music has brought music to over 10,000 families in Morningside Heights and Harlem. In addition Music Together® has been part of neighborhood headstart programs and preschools. Sol La Ti Music has been a integrate part of the community partnering with neighborhood outreach programs and offering free concerts in local libraries and venues for all to enjoy.

Passing the 25th Anniversary

In the Fall of 1997 I started my first Music Together class with 7 families. I am now entering my 27th year passing the 25 anniversary milestone. I’m having 1 wonderful teacher by my side.     Music Together®

    During the Covid-19 pandemic we are moving our classes to online classes until it is safe to meet in our class room setting again. Music Together® began in 1987 as an educational program of the Center for Music and Young Children, located in Princeton, NJ. It was founded by composer and early-childhood educator, Ken Guilmartin and professor of early childhood education, Dr. Lili Levinowitz.
