Gabriele Tranchina – Director/Teacher

Gabriele Tranchina is an internationally recognized jazz vocalist performing within the US and Europe. Her albums, “The Old Country,” and “A Song Of Love’s Color,” have been critically acclaimed. The second earned Gabriele a cover feature in “Inside Jazz Magazine.” She signed with Jazzheads records in 2010. While touring, Gabriele shares her expertise as a musician and educator by holding jazz vocal clinics for adults and college students.

Since 1997, Ms. Tranchina has directed Sol La Ti’s Music Together program at 4 locations in Morningside Heights and Harlem. In 2012, at the request of her German speaking families, Gabriele developed “Musikalische Mäuse,” an innovative German music program inspired by Gabriele’s heritage, her experience as an educator in Jazz and Music Together®.

Gabriele holds a teaching degree in Music and Physical Education from J.W. Goethe University, Frankfurt/M. She is a certified Level III voice teacher in the Somatic Voicework™. She is a certified Level II Music Together Teacher, the highest level, demonstrating outstanding achievement in teaching, musicianship, program philosophy, and parent education.
Gabriele studied dance at New York’s Peridance Center, Broadway Dance Center and Citycenter. She plays the guitar and some piano.

Mia Neibert DeJesus – Teacher
Mia Neibert is a contemporary vocalist. She graduated from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Professional Music.
Mia was thrilled when she discovered Music Together in 2007, the program combines both of her love’s which are music and teaching children.
Mia also has two daughters, Sofia and Viviana. Mia is a registered MT teacher, and plays some guitar.


Brooke Von Ehrenkrook – Teacher

Brooke is a classically trained pianist with a B.A. in Music from Mount Holyoke College.
 
Her start in music were piano lessones at the age of 3 with the Suzuki Method,  Currently Brooke is working on completing her certification as a Suzuki piano teacher.
 
Furthermore she has experience singing in choirs and playing organ for church services. When she’s not immersed in music, Brooke enjoys reading and creative writing.
 
Brooke really appreciates the cultural diversity of the Music Together songs, and has a lot of fun with the variety of modes and rhythms not usually found in children’s music. She loves working with children — as it is such a freeing and joyful experience.
 

Bill Pace – Teacher

Bill is a singer songwriter who has performed in numerous venues throughout NYC. His love of music began early when he would sit and listen to Beatles and Joe Cocker records on the family stereo. His older brothers introduced him to Jim Croce and Peter Frampton on 8-track and he was hooked. Bill began playing guitar as a teenager and still plays that same guitar in his classes (They don’t make them like that anymore). He began teaching Music Together in 2003 and can’t imagine doing anything else. Bill has two boys and has had the pleasure of being a parent in class as well as a teacher. After receiving a B.A. in Communications at Virginia Tech, Bill studied musical theater at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and Music History at City College of New York. He is a Music Together Certification Level 1.

 

 


Elina Georgiou -Teacher

Elina is a classically trained clarinetist with interest in folk and Ottoman Music. She is a graduate student at Manhattan School of music and her previous studies include a masters in clarinet performance, Belgium and Bachelor in Musicology, Greece.

Elina has been accepted to NYU music therapy Master’s program for the academic year 2023.

Elina loves children and enjoys every minute playing music and singing with them.

She is a registered Music Together teacher and looks forward to teaching at Sol La Ti.
